Twenty-four traditional Balinese bales are landscaped facing East across the side of a ravine, and in the style of a classical Balinese Village. The ambience created of a Bali from earlier days is a striking achievement of the architect, who is a member of the Royal Family of the Ubud Palace. The Pita Maha lives and breathes like an organic and living village. The standard of workmanship, in carving, thatching, woodcarving and stone befits that of only the most ancient and powerful Balinese Palaces.
