Day 1 - Bima (East Sumbawa)
Arrival in Bima, East Sumbawa, and transfer from the airport to the harbor. Embarkation on board the Ombak Putih. After lunch we sail to a beautiful beach to have a refreshing swim. During sunset sailing to west Flores. |

Day 2 - East Flores
Labuhanbajo is a charming small fishermen village at the western tip of Flores island. By mini bus to a nearby village where the local people will demonstrate ancient dances and whip fighting. In the afternoon snorkeling at one of many deserted beaches. At night sailing to Sumba. |

Day 3 - Waingapu (East Sumba)
Arrival in Waingapu, East Sumba for a full day tour to Waigili, a traditional village, where villagers warmly welcome you with a horse dance and other indigenous ceremonies. Of course you will have a chance to buy the famous ikats. Before departure we can also visit Prailiu, another traditional weaving village. Late afternoon sailing to Sawu. |

Day 4 - Sawu
Arrival on Sawu, a most interesting and beautiful island. After lunch you will be welcomed at the beach for a special cleansing ceremony. Later in the afternoon, the enthusiastic villagers perform some beautiful dances symbolizing rituals and ceremonies that still play an important role in the daily life of the Sawunese. They will also display their most beautiful ikats. In the late afternoon you can visit Namata the ancient old religious center of Sawu. Overnight at Sawu. |

Day 5 - Sawu - Flores
Another half day at Sawu. We go ashore at the same place where, in 1770, James Cook landed on the island. Look around the ruins of Bodo, once a fortified village. You then drive by truck to Mesara, to see ikat weaving in a traditional village. We can also try the juice of the lontar palm, a staple food on Sawu. Sailing to Flores. |

Day 6 - Ngada country
Arrival at the south coast of Flores to visit "Ngada country" located in the highlands around the Inerie volcano with breathtaking sceneries. You will visit some tribal villages on the hilltops that have retained all their traditional architecture. At night sailing to Komodo National Park. |

Day 7 - Komodo National Park
Arrival in Komodo National Park. Early morning hike to watch the feared Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. Two rangers will guide you to see these fascinating predators that can reach a length of more than three meters and can weigh up to 150kg. After lunch you will sail to one of the beautiful surrounding islands where you can explore the rich reef or bask in the sun. In the evening the crew will prepare a BBQ at the beach. Day 8 - Bima
Arrival at your disembarkation point, Bima. If time allows you might visit the colorful market before your transfer to the airport for our flight back to Denpasar. |
