The eastern end of Bali is dominated by the sacred mountain
Gunung Agung (3,142m), considered to be the dwelling
place of the Hindu gods.
We visit the village of Tenganan, located just west of Candidasa.
This is a Bali Aga village, a centre of the original
Balinese, prior to the Majapahit arrival. The village is rich
in ancient customs, festivals and cultural practices.
On our way back to the boat you will see beautiful rice
terraces and breathtaking panoramas. Of course you can
stay on board and explore the fine reef near
the boat.
